Ukrainian Summer Camp Rezonans is a truly extraordinary place! It is an immersion into Ukrainian language, culture and heritage for
4-12-year-old children in Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Founded by Iryna Ivaniv, this camp has been a beloved summer tradition in Toronto for over ten years. Our dedicated camp leaders are fluent in both Ukrainian and English. They foster children's social growth while nurturing a deep appreciation for Ukrainian traditions, culture, and heritage.
Ukrainian Summer Camp Rezonans offers exceptional value for parents and an unforgettable experience for children. With a wide variety of enriching activities and fabulous outdoor fun, children are encouraged to explore, create, and connect with nature and their Ukrainian roots.
We spend a lot of time outdoors, especially in the beautiful surroundings of Centennial Park. Unless it’s raining or there's a heatwave, our daily schedule blends indoor learning with exciting outdoor adventures.
Our program is based on the STEAM framework (an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), helping children discover, experiment, and grow through hands-on learning:
Science: Kids participate in fun and simple experiments like creating a volcano using baking soda and vinegar. We also explore the flora and fauna of the park and observe animals and plants in their natural environment.
Technology: Campers are introduced to the basics of coding, building, and mechanics through engaging tools such as LEGO and Robotics.
Engineering: Children design and construct bridges, buildings, and simple machines, developing their critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Art: We integrate science with art through drawing, creative projects, and music, encouraging imagination and self-expression.
Math: Math becomes exciting through group games, problem-solving challenges, quests, and board games that build logic and teamwork.
